Teresa AndersonTeresa Anderson
Chief Executive
Sydney Local Health District (SLHD)

Dr Anderson has more than 30 years experience in the public health system as a clinician and manager. She has extensive experience in the management of health services including General Manager, Liverpool Hospital, Director Clinical Operations, and Former Sydney South West Area Health Service and is currently Chief Executive, Sydney Local Health District.

Dr Anderson is currently a member of 8 external Boards.

Roger Garsia Roger Garsia
Senior Clinician Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
Sydney Local Health District

Dr Roger Garsia is a physician and pathologist in Clinical Immunology and Allergy at RPA where is he also Head of the Division of Medicine.  He is the SLHD Director of Clinical HIV AIDS Services and Medical Director of Yaralla House on the Yaralla Estate.  He was the founding medical director of “The Bridge” HIV dementia facility at Glebe and for over 15 years, to 2013, chaired the NSW Ministerial Advisory Committee on HIV/ AIDS. He has given historical lectures on the Philanthropy of Dame Eadith Walker and is a regular recreational user of the Yaralla Estate’s lands.


Robert  LusbyRobert Lusby
Senior Clinician, Concord Repatriation General Hospital
Sydney Local Health District

Professor Robert Lusby is a vascular surgeon and Head of the University of Sydney Clinical School at Concord Hospital.  Robert Lusby has served with the Royal Australian Medical Corp in Rwanda, Bougainville and East Timor, and has been Consultant Surgeon to the Australian Defence Force. Professor Lusby has worked in the local area for more than 30 years, is a resident of Breakfast Point and proprietor of Tintilla Estate Vineyard in the Hunter Valley. He also was recently awarded the City of Canada Bay Citizen of the Year.

Tim Sinclair Tim Sinclair
General Manager, Concord Repatriation General Hospital
Sydney Local Health District

Dr Tim Sinclair is the General Manager of Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Sydney Local Health District. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration, a Masters in Health Services Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Information Management) and successfully completed the Graduate Health Management Trainee Program.

Dr Sinclair has held roles as General Manager at Balmain Hospital and a number of senior positions within the former Sydney South West Area Health Service. Dr Sinclair is a Director on the ANZAC Health and Medical Research Foundation and an Advisory Board Member of the Australian Institute of Health Services Management. In 2013 Tim was also the recipient of the Institute of Public Administration Australia award for Individual Excellence and the Anthea Kerr Award.


Stuart ReadStuart Read
Heritage Division, NSW Office of Environment & Heritage

Stuart Read works in the Heritage Division of the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage in the role of Conservation Assessment Officer. Trained in science, horticulture and landscape architecture, he has worked on Australian World, National and NSW heritage areas, seeking better management of historic landscapes as part of our identity and economy. Stuart won a Pratt Foundation / ISSI overseas fellowship travelling through Spain in 2005 studying management of change in historic parks and gardens. He has contributed to ‘The Oxford Companion to Australian Gardens’ (2002) and magazines ‘Australian Garden History’ and ‘Heritage NSW’.


Lois MichelLois Michel
Local Resident/Member of the City of Canada Bay Heritage Society

Lois Michel operated her own Small Offset Printing business, Express Printing, since 1957 and recently, after 54 years, has decided it is time to retire.  She became involved with the Concord Historical Society in mid-1960 and has been actively involved, in a management capacity, with the Society through its various incarnations into the City of Canada Bay Heritage Society.  As well, she has an active part in the management of the City of Canada Bay Museum. Through her involvement with both her printing business and the society she has gained knowledge and experience in dealing with business matters and interacting with the general public. It is through working with the Heritage Society that she has taken an active part in the preservation of the history and heritage of the Walker Estates and is keen to continue in this work through the Yaralla Estate Advisory Committee.


Norm BuckleyNorm Buckley

Norm Buckley J.P. has been a resident of Concord West since 1969. Mr Buckley’s wife, two sons and five grandchildren all live in Concord West. He is a past President of St Ambrose P&F Association and past President of the first Concord West Scout Association. Mr Buckley is past Captain and President and now Life Member of Concord Golf Club. An active golfer and walker, Norm regularly walks past or through Yaralla Estate.


Suzanne RileySuzanne Riley

Suzanne Riley has experience in adult education and organising conferences for professional and community groups. Over the last twenty years she has been involved in the Australian Cashmere Growers Association, holding executive positions on various committees and producing newsletters.  She was a community member on the Heritage Committee, the Sustainable Agriculture roundtable and the Biodiversity Committee for the Byron Shire Council. Sue is also currently a member of the Consumer Advisory Committee for Concord Hospital. She had an educational role in the Rural Fire Service and was a stalwart in the Landcare movement on the North Coast being a life member of the Big Scrub Landcare and Wilsons Creek Huonbrook Landcare groups.  Suzanne has worked with government departments and agencies, local government, companies and community groups.


Guy PinkertonGuy Pinkerton

Guy Pinkerton is a local resident who is passionate about vibrant, sustainable and connected communities.  Since graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Sydney, he has spent the last 7 years as an Urban Designer, working on a diverse range of local and international projects for both the public and private sector. Guy is currently an Urban Designer at Parramatta City Council, and has extensive experience working on open space and recreation projects including Johnston’s Creek Parklands at Glebe, Western Sydney Parklands and more recently the Parramatta Sports and Leisure Precinct.  Guy resides in Concord with his wife, Rebecca, who is a mental health nurse.

Bob Hussey has been a Commissioner of the NSW Land & Environment Court for the past 20 years. He has been involved with and conducted many development appeals and conciliation conferences. Prior to this, he gained extensive local government engineering, town planning and public participation experience. From this experience, he is interested in good strategic planning outcomes.


Jeremy Roper-Tyler Jeremy Roper-Tyler

Jeremy Roper-Tyler has a 28 year career in the Sheriff's Office of NSW at the Dept of Justice & Attorney General. During this time he was seconded to the NSW Police Royal Commission and The Police Integrity Commission. He is currently attached to the Sheriff's Operations Centre at Parramatta. He is a local resident and an active member of the community.
